Unofficial Mobile Metro-North

A text based interface to the Metro-North schedule Web site for wireless devices.

I originally built this tool so that I can check Metro-North schedules from my BlackBerry. For some reason the MTA didn't supply an interface like this, nor does it provide a Web service to provide results to third parties.

You can now download a BlackBerry shortcut icon that loads this site using your default browser.

Soon, I'll have a native BlackBerry application (and possibly an iPhone app) that will store station preferences and use GPS to determine the closest station. Send me a note if you'd like to be notified when that becomes available.

Not affiliated with the MTA or the State of New York. This tool uses live information directly from mta.info, so schedules are always based on the latest available information. This tool retains no copies of schedule information from the MTA.
